About Us
Welcome to the FCCU Foundation, Inc., a non-profit entity. At the FCCU Foundation, our mission is to enhance the financial well-being of the communities we serve through financial literacy and related activities.
To celebrate First Commerce Credit Union’s 75th anniversary year in 2015, it launched the FCCU Foundation as a separate, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in order to formalize and support financial literacy efforts. Through the usage of EVERFI, a digital financial literary resource, the FCCU Foundation delivers programs to local schools, higher education institutions, and various other community organizations in both online and face-to-face interaction.
We appreciate the commitment to helping our learners become more informed about financial practices and how to make good financial choices for themselves and their families.
The FCCU Foundation created an incredibly safe space for my students to work in. I’m sure they went away with many valuable lessons that they will be able to actually use immediately. I look forward to The Foundation visiting my classes next year!
